DO YOU LIMIT THE NUMBER OF RUNNERS FOR THE LOCAL RACE?
The entry capacity for the Memorial Day Veterans 10k & 5k Race is 300 walkers/runners

THE RACE SOLD OUT AND IS FULL, DO YOU HAVE A WAITING LIST?
Yes, please visit the contact page to send an email to the “Registration/Waiting List” with the subject line waiting list.

REGISTRATION CLOSED ON APRIL 15TH, CAN I STILL GET IN THE LIVE RACE?
No. The race committee is ordering the shirts and medals to ensure everything arrives in time for race day!

CAN I HAVE CELL PHONES, FRIENDS, STROLLERS, OR DOGS ON THE COURSE?
Single Strollers, Headphones/Earbuds are permitted on the course as long as you can hear instructions from volunteers. Pets are not permitted on the racecourse. Also, you may run with your cell phone. Only registered runners/walkers with a valid race bib will be allowed on the course to compete.

HOW DOES THE VIRTUAL RACE WORK?
The Virtual Memorial Day Veterans 10k & 5k Race is for those who want to make a difference in the lives of our Veterans, but cannot participate in the live and local race on Memorial Day! Virtual walkers/runners can do their 10k or 5k the weekend of the race but are NOT permitted on the live racecourse for SAFETY reasons. Once you complete your virtual race, post it on social media with the hashtag #MemorialDayVirtualRace

WHEN DO VIRTUAL RUNNERS RECEIVE THEIR RACE PACKET?
Virtual walkers/runners receive a race packet in the mail with their size race shirt and awesome finisher’s medal before the Memorial Day Race if signed up by the shirt cutoff deadline. Transit times vary depending on location.

WHERE DO I SEND MY SELFIES?
Post your selfies to our Facebook Page, Twitter, or Instagram using the hashtag #MemorialDayRace, or send us your selfies and we’ll post them online! Email to photos@memorialdayrace.org

I AM INJURED, PREGNANT, HAVE A FAMILY EMERGENCY, OR UNEXPECTEDLY OUT OF TOWN, CAN I GET A REFUND?
As a courtesy to our runners, we allowed transfers, bib exchanges, and deferrals at no additional fee up to two weeks before race day. After that, only race deferrals to the following year’s race will be allowed! Know that part of your registration fee will help support local Veterans.

CAN I GIVE / SELL MY NUMBER TO ANOTHER RUNNER?
Contact registration@memorialdayrace.org to make official transfers. Transfers are free until May 15th.  After that, only deferrals will be allowed. You may not sell, give, or transfer your bib to another runner without contacting and officially transferring through registration. Any runner who runs with another athlete’s bib (and did not sign a waiver) will be automatically disqualified.

WHY HAVEN’T I RECEIVED AN EMAIL CONFIRMATION?
If you haven’t received your e-mail confirmation please email registration@memorialdayrace.org before race day.

WHERE DOES MY REGISTRATION FEE GO?
All race proceeds go to local Veterans in need. All sponsorship support, runners/walkers, and friends of the race are making this possible, so thank you! Learn more at www.itsourturninc.org

PRIZES & AWARDS
Awards will be given to the top overall male and female finishers, and the top three male and female finishers in each age group.

DO I GET A FINISHER’S MEDAL?
Each finisher of the Memorial Day Veterans 10k & 5k Race and Virtual Race receives a very cool finisher medal.

WHEN IS PACKET PICK-UP?
Please visit the Packet Pickup Page.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME TO PICK UP MY PACKET?
Bring your photo id and it is helpful to also have your confirmation of signup.

CAN I AUTHORIZE ANOTHER PERSON TO PICK UP MY RACE PACKET?
A friend can pick up your race bib and packet BUT ONLY if that person has your photo id or a copy of it.

WHERE CAN I PARK AT EARLY PACKET PICK-UP?
Parking is available at the Military Heritage Museum.

WHERE CAN I PARK ON RACE DAY?
The Justice Center parking lot.

WHAT IS NOT ALLOWED ON THE COURSE?
No grumpy people, no frowns. No dogs, and no unregistered runners.
